The event held at the Basilica San Paolo Fuori Le Mura on November 17th at 9:00 PM was a great success. In the presence of religious and diplomatic authorities, including Ambassador Manuela Leimgruber, who welcomed the audience with a powerful speech, the Swiss National Orchestra presented a program featuring music by Puccini and Bruckner. The audience honored the orchestra with prolonged applause and standing ovations.
